Damian Brantley as Michael JacksonIn the wake of the untimely and sad passing away of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, Legends In Concert  plans to continue to forge ahead with dignified and respectful tributes to the “gloved one” as we have done meticulously in the past.

Legends In Concert will continue to provide thousands of adoring Michael Jackson fans with an endearing and energetic tribute to his legacy.  Michael Jackson tribute artists have been a staple of the Legends In Concert family for several years. Artists such as E’Casanova ,  William Hall , and Damian Brantley have provided Legends In Concert show-goers with electric renditions of all Michael’s signature moves and vocals that is unsurpassed in the field of  tribute artistry.

With the news of Michael Jackson’s recent passing, several Legends In Concert performers and managers have reflected on how the King of Pop influenced them. Dennis Inman who impersonates The Temptations says. “He really changed the visual aspect of the industry with epic videos he did a lot of firsts.”   “I had the cartoon Jackson Five the “Off the Wall” record when Michael had an afro the size of a basketball,” Bucky Heard who impersonates Jake Blues says. Legends In Concert – known for its live celebrity impersonator shows – does not have a Michael Jackson impersonator in its Myrtle Beach show, but has asked its Elton John impersonator, Mitch Adams of Las Vegas, to pay homage to the King of Pop in one of his shows that started Thursday night in Myrtle Beach, said regional general manager Chris Beattie.  Beattie added “We will continue to pay homage [to Michael Jackson] at least for a week, but we haven’t had time to think about what we will do in addition.”

“Legends in Concert has featured remarkably talented Michael Jackson tribute artists in our shows worldwide for many years and we look forward to continuing the legacy of his music and his spirit. ” said Brian Brigner, chief operating officer of On Stage Entertainment, creators of the world’s longest running tribute show. “We have the utmost respect for Michael Jackson and have always prided ourselves on being dedicated to the presentation of entertainment featuring the highest quality tribute artist replication in the industry.  We are humbled to share the body of work he left behind with his millions of devoted fans, and are confident we can inspire yet another generation of Michael enthusiasts by sharing his gift.”

Legends In Concert’s upcoming July line-up at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, CT will feature an exciting Michael Jackson tribute (Damian Brantley); an appearance scheduled before the passing of America’s most iconic pop star.
