Michael Jackson Week Set for Branson and Myrtle Beach

This coming June both the Branson and Myrtle Beach Legends In Concert locations will celebrate the music of Michael Jackson. Both venues have a full slate of activities planned for their respective weeks.

Legends In Concert Branson’s celebrates the King of Pop’s music from June 19th to June 25th and will include events such as “THIS IS IT” movie nights on the Legends stage, Master Dance Classes with Michael Jackson tribute J Lucas, authentic Michael Jackson memorabilia from the Dick Clark Collection, and more. Make your plans to attend Legends In Concert in Branson for what is destined to be a memorable week honoring the music of the “gloved one”. This week will feature performances by world-renowned Michael Jackson tribute artist, J Lucas. J Lucas will also be appearing on several select dates throughout the summer.

Myrtle Beach’s week-long ode to the Music of Michael Jackson will kick-off on June 21st. The theatre will feature one of the world’s leading Michael Jackson tribute artists, William Hall, performing nightly from June 14th through June 26th as well as a full slate of activities centered around the music of Michael Jackson. The gift shop will also have several new Michael Jackson items on-hand. The week dedicated to MJ will wrap-up on Saturday June 26th but the fun doesn’t end there with Damian Brantley appearing as Michael Jackson all month-long during July at Legends in Myrtle Beach!

We invite you to visit the Branson and Myrtle Beach special event pages for details as they become available.

Big Hearts in Branson

Today’s fast-paced world is so busy that it seems we barely have enough time for ourselves. Nonetheless, some Legends Branson employees have found the time to open their hearts to others.

Peg and Jamie

Jamie and Peg

Peg Lindsay, who has been a beloved usher at Legends for many years, also volunteers at Skaggs Community Hospital. Every Tuesday she transports people to their same-day surgeries. She also volunteers in one of the many Methodist Thrift Shops in the area and remains very active in her church community. At 85 years old, Lindsay is truly living life to the fullest. Despite her busy schedule, she always has a smile on her face.

Another person sure to greet you with a smile is Jamie Curry. Curry, one of our fabulous Legends dancers, has recently become a volunteer with Skaggs Hospice and devotes his Thursday and Friday mornings to his hospice patients. He visits them in their homes to share lunch, life stories and lots of love and laughter. Jamie has even brought special gifts to his hospice patients (sometimes as simple as a chocolate malt!) and invited their families to come see Legends In Concert to lift their spirits. It is such a great feeling to know that our show is reaching out to those in the community whose hearts are so heavy.

We applaud Jamie and Peg for their commitment to serve the community and are truly proud that they are a part of the Legends family here in Branson.
