Hello my name is Cecil Chandler. I have been in the radio and television business for nearly 40 years and when it comes to music I am a big fan. When I moved to Surfside Beach 8 years ago I discovered Legends in Concert and since that time I have been there more than a dozen times. It’s hard to believe that you can re-live your rock-and-roll days at one of their shows. I would like to tell you about a few of my favorite acts I have seen at Legends. I am a big Elvis fan and Ryan Pelton has his Elvis tribute down to a tee. The Blues Brothers never get old they are always funny and entertaining, the best group act I have seen at Legends is “The Temptations” they really brought the house down with the famous temptation walk and they sounded just like the real Temptations. Now what really amazed me is watching the entertainer Brain McCullough doing Roy Orbison, when he did “Crying” it took my breath away. As you can tell I am a big music fan, keep up the good work and never let the music die. This is the one show in the Myrtle Beach area that let’s you turn back the hands of time when rock and roll was king. The show of course also provides a number of other great entertainers of today but I am a fan of the oldies. P.S. I love your new web site it gives everyone a chance to see what the entertainer look like compared to the real stars.

We love Cecil’s World and WBTW TV 13. Cecil is dead on about what a GREAT show Legends In Concert is. We are local fan club members and appreciate the quality of entertainment they bring to our community. Performances for the last 25 years on the Las Vegas strip make the show a LEGEND in itself. You have got to see this show for an evening filled with memories, laughter and music.
I love it when he features Legends’ performers on Cecil’s World! You learn so much more about the person potraying the “Legend”.
Steve…even though the beach is small compared to big cities, I did not know your family was involved at Painters Ice Cream (one of my favorite stops) in Garden City. If you and your family need any help whatsoever in any fundraisers for rebuilding, or help in any way, please have Chris Beattie call and I will be there for you. You and your family have put so much laughter and joy in the community via the Legends In Concert Show, especially at the Christmas show when your girls take the stage and when you portray Garth Brooks. Like the Phoenix, I hope and pray that Painters rises from the ashes, and I thank God that everyone who worked there got out safely. You and your family will be in our prayers!
Steve and family,
Here is the grace of God:
Isaiah 43:1-3
But now, this is what the LORD says– he who created you, he who formed you, “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
This verse reflects past and present and future.
Danny and I just wanted to take time to send this to you and tell you we are thinking about you and your family.
